Meet The Militia Men
Who are the militia men?
They are five rag-tag men who've been meeting together weekly for over 6 years; a greenhouse supervisor, a missionary in Philadelphia, a plumber, a businessman, and an itinerant adventurer.

Together they pursue a redemptive community and offer the healing and hope they have experienced through the Wild at Heart message to others.

I have been walking with our wild God for quite some time now. I feel his favor on my life in so many ways. There are so many things in my life that I am proud of and thankful for. One of the things that I am most blessed with is a Band of Brothers. These guys are the life blood of my spiritual journey. When we are together it feels like it's right out of the book of Acts. After being with these guys and their families for seven years our small redemptive community is part of what defines me. We truly are a militia fighting for one another.

I am also a constant adventurer. If you spend any amount of time listening to my heart you will get a chance to hear both of my epic mountain stories and my dreams for future expeditions. I actually built a small guiding company that takes young people into the back country of Wyoming in hope to help them hear from God while climbing big walls. I own and run a small t-shirt company that encourages students to speak out and be bold in their faith. Check it out at: www.LiveOffensively.com

I have a beautiful girlfriend named Ann. The two of us are taking sky diving lessons this Spring, in hopes to one day be able to base jump off some of the larger rocks that we climb. We sort of fell in love while getting stranded 2000 feet up shivering all night on an expedition about four years ago. I am also studying full time at Philadelphia Biblical University enrolled in their four year counseling program. To be honest school feels a little like prison to me however I love what I am learning. Studying counseling is an asset in every area of my life and has illuminated the masculine journey to me in power ways. I am not sure what my future holds, there are about a million different things that I would love to do with the rest of my life. God has not made it clear what that I am to do professionally yet so I am focusing on growing in many different areas and entering into greater risks every day.
